Meet Rubert! This sweet dude has tons of character, that he'd love to share with his new family! Rubert absolutely craves attention, but he can be a bit peculiar; Rubert will come up to you and ask to be picked up, but will playfully growl at you while you are in the proccess of picking him up, once he is in your arms and against you, he'll shower you with kisses and love noms on the nose. Rubert has worked his way into the hearts of staff, and quickly became a "fan favorite." Even though he can make himself comfortable here, he is really hoping to find his forever home and family, where he can form a true bond, and show off his quirks and peculiarities and be loved for them! All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home.

Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.
