Nala is most notably the name of Simba's lifelong friend—a spirited heroine who eventually becomes queen of the pride in The Lion King.

Much like her given name, this Nala is fast on the track to running her foster family's pride of dogs. Nala is kind, gentle, and she plays well. While Nala has been at the foster home, she is learning the doggy door, sleeping and cuddling in bed, and getting into a routine.

Nala is still young and is in need of patience. She is a bit timid and does not respond to loud. Nala was found at another house before coming to the foster home; at this other house, there were ten other dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and children; Nala got along with them all. She also does great on a leash.

Nala has a calm demeanor and is loving. She would do best in a home with other dogs, kids, and someone to keep her busy when she isn't getting attention from humans.
