Marlo is a spunky teenager in a middle-aged cat’s body. You’d never know he was six years old when he seeks out his little toys and dips his nose into the catnip. This guy will wait for you as you do your business, and will get in pretend fights with you to help you both stay fit.

Marlo loves his brother Simon and needs to be adopted with him. He could live in a household with or without children and hasn’t been exposed to dogs. The household he needs most is the one who will cherish his loyalty and invite him to every room in the house. And boy do we mean every room… He would prefer a more quiet home environment so that he can focus his attention and affection on his human family members.

Marlo is such a loving and caring cat that he has been a very important part of helping his dear brother Simon adjust to a big change, coming from Kentucky here to the Midwest in the middle of winter. He is a supportive constant presence in both Simon’s life and in the life of his foster family.

If ever you’ve been looking for a loyal companion who will look directly into your soul with his big, innocent eyes, li’l Marlo is the one for you. Marlo will pounce on your feet like a kitten and cuddle up with you at night like a blanket itself. If he’s feeling lonely, he will call out for you with a sweet, delicate little meow, and when he’s feeling playful, he’ll roll around and show you his belly before he hops up to chase his little mouse toys around the room. Marlo is nothing but a loving delight and is just waiting for a forever home where he can share all that love and affection with you.

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
