My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Let's find a home for miss Rowlett!

This adorable 9 month old lady is still on the search for her forever family. Rowlett is spayed, up to date on her shots, house trained, and comfortable in a kennel. She does well on a leash, although she can be easily spooked, but she hasn't shown any leash reactivity. This little lady is fantastic with kids and women, but she does exhibit fear around men-truly a little feminist... Rowlett has nipped at 2 different men, highlighting her need for patience and understanding in overcoming this fear. In her ideal home, if there were a man, he would play a vital role in helping Rowlett feel secure and trusting.

If you're ready to open your home, consider adopting Rowlett!

We have adoption events each Saturday at Wet Noses Dry Paws in Tacoma (411 Fawcett Ave Tacoma) from 2-4. Not all dogs listed will be attending but it is a great time to come and socialize with them in a play setting.

More about this rescue

501c3 non-profit l est 2019 l

We have been fostering dogs since early 2019 through various rescues.

What better way to showcase them then in a playful, happy, loving environment with other loving dogs in our community.

Recently we have started changing things as we are looking for our pups to go into foster homes/foster to adopt.

We typically fly dogs in from over capacity shelters in Texas, drive puppers over from Yakima, and still have an amazing relationship with a partnering rescue in Mexico.
