Just look at Lola's beautiful soulful eyes. These eyes tell a story, one of a rough start to life, one that she is ready to move on from. At only 1 year old, 40 lb Lola came to the APL with her 6 babies. She had spent the first months of her life living in a shed only moving inside after having her puppies. Thankfully she was brought to the APL where she landed herself in a loving foster home to help her to raise her babies. Now that the babies are old enough, this loving lady is ready to move on and live the cushy life of a made doggie. Lola didn't know much about cuddling since she grew up in a shed, but she is a fast learner and snuggling on the couch in the evening and sleeping in bed have become her favorite activities. But this girly isn't all about snuggles, she loves to play too. She loves fetch, toys of all sorts and wait until you see her happy zoomies! If you would like to help teach this girl about the doggy-sweet life, come and meet her, you won't be disappointed.

The Cleveland Animal Protective League's mission is to foster compassion and end animal suffering. Incorporated in 1913, we are an independent, nonprofit humane society located in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood.
As a 501(c)(3) agency, we are not funded or controlled by any government or national animal welfare organization. Our animal shelter, services, and programs are made available through fundraising, donations, foundation and corporate support, and service fees.
We are committed to 100 percent placement of adoptable animals and envision a time when every friendly, healthy, homeless animal in our community can be cared for until a new family is found.
