Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please read ALL of this listing prior to emailing with questions or inquiries. If you are interested in Lulu and feel that you would be a good match for her, you MUST FIRST fill out and submit this application at: https://foreverhomek9rescue.org/adoption-application/ (copy and paste). After we receive your application and review it, we will contact you. Thank you!
Lulu is a tiny 5-lb., 4-year-old Chihuahua mix... the perfect little 'pocket pet'! She is a little shy and timid at first, but it doesn't take her long to warm up to new people. We'd love for her to find a home where her new guardian will keep her active and social, rather than just staying at home all day long. Being so small, it will be easy to take her anywhere and everywhere!
When at home, Lulu loves cuddling on her foster mom's lap and giving kisses. She gets along with the other small dogs in her foster home, but she barks at the big dog. We feel that she will do well in either a single-dog home or with another small dog. Lulu's a little 'Velcro dog' and wants to stay close to her person.
Lulu is housetrained and crate trained, but since she is such a small dog, she has to be let out often. A home with a fenced yard and someone at home during the day will be best for her. We feel it would not be best for her to be in a crate while her family is at work during the day. In her foster home she sleeps in a crate, but we are sure that she would love to snuggle next to her new guardian in their 'big bed'.
Lulu is a very healthy little girl and is current on her Dist/Parvo and Rabies vaccinations. We also had her spayed, microchipped, tested for Heartworms, and had her teeth cleaned. She is currently on Heartguard for Heartworm prevention.
Lulu's adoption fee is $400.00
Lulu is a loving, sweet, and smart little girl who deserves only the best home and family! If you feel that you would like to add Coco to your family, please submit an application at: https://foreverhomek9rescue.org/adoption-application/ (copy and paste).
Forever Home Canine Rescue offers a three-week trial period with all of our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adopting family. The fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that each of our pets will have their perfect 'forever' home!
Although Forever Home Canine Rescue adopts out-of-state, we never ship or transport our pets. An approved adopter must come to North Carolina to meet their new canine companion and then take him/her back home with them.
