Freckles was part of a large intake where we helped out a local farm that had been having issues with people dumping cats at their property. The farm owners had been doing the best they could with providing for these poor souls but simply couldn't keep up. When we were contacted for help from one of our own volunteers, we assessed the situation at hand and offered to take in as many as we responsibly could care for at that time. All would need a routine check-up, testing for FIV/FeLV, vaccines, and a spay/neuter - it was a lot to ask, but here we are with the first of the group ready for adoption.

Freckles is a quiet fella - a little on the shy side but warms up very quickly once he's observed you for a minute or two. He is most at ease when he's snuggled up with a cat friend so we do want Freckles to go to a home with one of his friends here at the rescue or at the very least, into a home with an existing cat that he can become fast friends with. The more we get to know this handsome youngster, the more we appreciate his personality - quiet and relaxed has it's perks! :)
