My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vera is a very sweet and gentle 2 year old Coonhound mix who weighs around 30 pounds. Her foster family has been very impressed by how quiet she is in a crate (during the day and at night). She happily greets new people including kids, seems to be uninterested/wary towards cats, and plays well with other dogs. She is doing very well at house training so far.

During the day Vera likes to carry around her toys and give kisses to her foster mom while she tries to work. Vera is spayed and up to date with shots. She will make the perfect addition to any home.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
