My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sarge came to the shelter at 9 months of age after living under a porch with his mama and siblings. He has had a hard time adjusting to being in the shelter. Our wonderful volunteer socializers have been working with him on his socialization skills. He has calmed down a lot and is accepting people and enjoys playing. He will still be working on socialization, but he has come such a long way! He will require a very slow introduction into the home by starting out in a small room so you can bond with him and earn his trust. His adopter will need a lot of patience and have a lot of love to give. Sarge is an absolutely handsome cat that may turn out to be your best friend if you have the patience to make it work.Please visit PetFinder or email information@4pawsrescue.org

Sun Cities 4 Paws Rescue, Inc, was incorporated in 1996 and is a no kill, non-profit, volunteer, tax-exempt organization. Our mission is to rescue cats in the Sun Cities area; to provide temporary care either in foster homes or in a permanent shelter for such animals, while facilitating their adoption in appropriate homes; to cooperate with other organizations dedicated to the rescue and care of homeless animals, and to work for humane solutions to the problem of pet overpopulation
