Hawk and Hayward were surrendered to Hamilton Animal Services when their owners no longer wanted them. Hawk and Hayward’s owners had purchased them from a pet store six months before surrendering them.
We were happy to take in Hawk and Hayward, and they’re now settling in at their foster home. These boys are shy, but sweet. They definitely know when the treats are coming! They wheek and follow their foster mom everywhere to see what veggies are coming their way. So cute.
Hawk and Hayward were given a clean bill of health at the vet, and now they’re available for adoption!

Hawk and Hayward are friendly pigs. They come running to the side of their enclosure whenever anyone comes into the room. They LOVE snacks, and will stand up on their tippy toes to see what goodies their foster mom is bringing them. Hayward is the braver of the two, and he will accept scritches while in his enclosure. Hawk isn’t quite there yet, and ducks away from petting, but he’s getting better about it.
They’re both not thrilled about being picked up, but once they feel safe in your arms or on your lap, they’ll settle. Hawk and Hayward are lovely pigs, and they deserve a wonderful forever home where they will get lots of time out of their enclosure to explore, and where they’ll get loads of fresh veggies and snacks.
