My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please check here for updated adoption hours.

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Bo-Jack tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.

My foster writes: Meet Bo-Jack, the handsome tabby who finds joy in the quiet life away from the hustle and bustle of the city. In addition to his captivating tabby fur pattern and big paws, Bo-Jack boasts a playful side! His favorite hobbies include crinkle balls and toy mice, yet you will often catch him indulging in his #1 hobby - napping.
While Bo-Jack may initially retreat to his hiding spot, don't be fooled - he's simply a cautious and observant kitty who forms deep bonds once he feels secure. Some might say he's a bit of an introvert! He'll feel most comfortable in a patient home with fewer residents, and no tiny humans, where he can take his time to build trust and form strong connections. Though he may not be an instant cuddle bug, giving him the space and time to acclimate will reveal his transformation into a loyal companion, enjoying chilling beside you, sharing squeeze ups with other cats, and even snuggling up for a cozy nap. With Bo-Jack, you'll quickly realize that beauty, grace, and a heart of gold are all wrapped up in one delightful package.
