My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Natasha!

This sweet girl came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services due to lack of interest on the adoptions floor. Now she's living it up in foster care and is seeking her furever home!

Natasha is the happiest girl who enjoys the simple things in life like chew toys and sunbathing! Her foster mom says she's been the best, well-mannered house guest since coming to AFRP. Natasha is both crate and house-trained and knows how to occupy herself if needed!

Natasha would love a home with another playful, confident dog to have as a canine companion. It is unknown how she will do with cats, but any introductions to a resident animal should be done gradually and overtime.

Natasha's preferred home would be with adult adopters or families with children over the age of 10 who are able to keep her active and continue positive socialization! She will require a fenced yard. An experienced adopter who has previously owned large breed dogs such as huskies and akitas would be best.

Pre-registration for general obedience classes is a requirement for adoption.

Natasha is currently in foster care. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for our online dog application.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
