My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harlow is a goofy, bouncy pup who loves to play!

Harlow can be shy of some people at first but after a day or two, she is in your lap! This girl LOVES running around the yard and chewing on her toys. Harlow absolutely loves to play with her doggy roommates and is on the lookout for her next best friend! She would love to show you all her tricks as she is a beast at trick training! She already know sit, lay down, and shake!

Harlow was taken for PAWliday foster for a week and here is her A+ report:
"Harlow is a very sweet, affectionate lap dog. She does great with kids ages 1.5-8 years old in our experience. Harlow did not have any accidents in the home she's potty trained. Knows many commands is very intelligent. She does pull some on a leash in the beginning of the walk but then she walks a normal pace, she really loves walks. She does startle outside with loud noises and unfamiliar faces but with encouragement she does great. She is an amazing dog that needs a loving home that will give her a chance. She is the biggest softee ever and gives the best kisses. Anyone would be lucky to have her "

You heard it here first! This sweet girl is just waiting for her loving home!! Apply to meet Harlow today!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
