Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue
Meow! My name is Jett. My estimated date of birth is 10/3/2022. One of our sick fosters was finally healthy enough for his testing and vaccine restart. He came to us with a deep bite wound and soon after developed a nasty URI. After all of that we had to deal with yet another infection on his original wound. We were so excited to have him finally be ready for adoption!!! Unfortunately he has tested positive for FIV... likely from that bite wound. Jett now has to have a "label" that will limit his chances for finding the great home that he so deserves. But we will not stop fighting for him and will just be patient while we wait for his purr-fect home and the family that deserves to know his love as we do! Please share to help those special people find him!!!
Jett would like to share an article from our friends at alley cat allies which may answer some questions for those not familiar with FIV . https://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv/?fbclid=IwAR0snSSo7hpt6QrUbVmrXFnMfsXiDJRPH-44654PyshfsHvzQN3cpN3KtYE
Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family! Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year. Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info. Be sure to check us out on Facebook at bit.ly/KittyCornerFB and "LIKE" our page and share our posts!
