My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, My name is O'Hare!
My name is O'Hare. My foster mom calls me O'Hare bear. I had to have both my eyes removed due to a bad infection. However, this does not slow me down. I love to play. I like balls, feather toys, feather wands. Due to my blindness, I like toys that make noise such as bells, rattles or crinkle. I also like to snuggle. I like to snuggle on my foster mom's chest. It may take me a few minutes to settle, but I eventually settle. I get along well with foster mom's resident cats and 2 other foster pets. I've never been around dogs. If you adopt me, I will bring more joy to your life. I'm fun, sweet, and pretty layed back little guy!

My adoption fee of $100 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

More about this rescue

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
