Little Topsy who was seen being thrown from a car she was very scared when found . now she just likes to play with everyone ! and that’s what she does all day long .. run and play ! she is a little snippy with her treats and will steal everyone else’s if she can get them, she’s a very quick thief ..she's a little of an Alpha dog...but very sweet.. she looks like a backyard breeder dog that tried to breed Westies , she has a lot of similarities , even the way she walks ,she is approx 3 years old and 13 lbs and she is looking for her new home..her fosters want her to have a buddy as a companion and a fully fenced in and secure yard..

OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under that age of 8 years.
The total adoption fee of $600 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at

We require all adopters to fill out an initial application so that we can check references. We try to match our dogs with a family that fits the needs and individuality of our homeless pets. We work tirelessly to find the right homes with people who will love their pets for a lifetime. We do this through email, phone, and any other means of communication to ensure a good fit.
