Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Located in Southern California. If an adopter isn't found in SoCal, then we hopefully will find one in route on one of our transport trips up north.
(We have a transport trip on 3/24/24 to Northern Cali and Medford,OR.! We will be asking for transport costs to be divided between all adopters in route to help alleviate the total costs involved.)
Meet Chloe. She is a 2 year old purebred shih tzu. She weighs right under 11 lbs and yes she is full grown, and at a healthy weight. She is set to be spayed on 3/21/24. She will be current on vaccines, micorchipped, and thourely examined and cleared by our vet prior to her adoption.
She is house trained, and will go outside to use the restroom when asked to if needed. She is also pad trained, and has no issues using them if desired so in her next home. She is leash trained, and does well on her walks. She is crate trained, and currently sleeps in her crate at night. She has amazing house manners and would very much love being in bed with her person at night, or on a dog bed nearby.
She is great on road trips. Loves her spa day with the groomer. Loves every dog she has met big or small. She is very sweet, calm, loving, and serene tempered. She is not a barker, and loves to just be near her person. She is not high maintenance, and really easy going. She is truly a great dog, looking for a wonderful new person/family to call her own.
Her prior owners went through a few big life changes that left them with little to no time for Chloe, and they saw how hard it was on her not having them around as she had always been used to. They didn't want her to be depressed, and alone when she deserved to have what made her heart full and that's a family who was able to be present in her life ❤️
Adoption fee along with its breakdown is on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org under listing/available for adoption.
