She might look built for speed, but Harley enjoys the lazy life. She enjoys a stroll on leash or to hang out with other dogs. Her shyness is overcome with yummy hot dogs. One thing that does liven her up is protecting her yard, so she will be her best with a sturdy, solid fence to avoid this distraction.

The adoption fee for dogs includes vaccinations (DA2PLP+CV, Bordatella, Rabies) spaying/neutering, heartworm check, deworming, heartworm prevention, flea preventative, and microchip.

The adoption fee for cats includes a full exam (feleck/FIV tested, FVRCP), spaying/ neutering, rabies, deworming, and flea preventative.

If you wish to adopt a pet you will need to fill out an adoption application. You can either pick one up at the shelter or email the shelter to request an application be emailed to you.

The Calhoun County Humane Society, Inc. (dba The Animal Shelter), located in Anniston, Alabama, was established in 1973 as a result of the efforts of Susan Levens Phillips.

Our mission is
