Elio came to Catering to Cats and Dogs as a stray, so we do not know his history, but we do know he has a bright future ahead of him.
Elio is a laid-back dog who enjoys chewing on bones, splashing in water, and snuggling at the end of the day. He does great with other dogs his size but needs proper introductions, especially with bigger and more dominant dogs. Elio is a dog that will stand up for himself if he feels threatened. He currently lives and plays with a cat.
All food is Elio. Are you eating some chips on the couch? Yup, those are now Elio. He will walk up to you all sweet and innocent, and then BAM… your chips are gone, and Elio is happy! To that note, Elio does not like to share his food and will need to be fed separately from other animals in the house.
Elio loves women and enjoys playing with children. However, he is hesitant with men and is very slowly warming up. When Elio first arrived at his foster home, he displayed some marking behavior but made huge improvements. He is a sweet dog who will follow you around the house and cuddle up once you sit down!
