Meet Angelo, a young canine resident at our shelter. His playful nature is infectious, always ready for fun activity like running, tugging, toys, chase, and wrestling. His intelligence shines through in his quick learning and alertness. He is mostly house trained but living in a shelter doesn`t allow him to get out often enough. Please give him time to adjust to your schedule. He used to know the sit, come, shake, and no commands but has forgotten. Angelo is loyal, always sticking by your side and showing his affection with a wagging tail. He may be a little shy and timid at first, but with a bit of patience, he opens up to reveal a cuddly and sweet nature. He loves being petted and getting belly rubs. His independence makes him a great companion for those with a busy lifestyle, but his curiosity ensures he`s always interested in what you`re doing. He`s a 31-pound dog`s dog, happiest when he`s around his canine companions. With other dogs, he is easygoing, friendly, playful, and respectful. He loves meeting dogs on walks and behaves well at the dog park. He is cautious around cats. He is playful, jumpy, and submissive around children of all ages but can be a little snappy when he doesn`t want to be handled so he`ll need to live with kids at least 12 years old. His nerves can sometimes get the better of him, but with a gentle hand and a kind word, he quickly regains his confidence. Adopting Angelo means welcoming a bundle of joy, loyalty, and love into your home. He`s ready to become a beloved part of your family, offering endless companionship and unwavering loyalty.
