Teddy is a Lab/Husky/Pit mix. He is about a year old and about 64 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Teddy has been looked after by a kind person after neighbors saw him get dumped out of a vehicle. Unfortunately, this person's pets do not get along with him, so he needs a new home.
Teddy loves to go walking, play with his toys, and go on hikes. His favorite treats are jerky sticks and peanut butter. He also loves rolling around in the leaves and playing fetch with his ball. He is initially fearful with other dogs, but has improved and seems to have done very well with recent interactions. He may be timid/shy at first but has not barked or showed reactive behaviors after some recent socialization. Teddy does have anxiety at times, but mostly just starts panting and gets nervous. He has some puppy behavioral issues that need some work (like jumping and pulling), but has already improved in the time that the owner has had him. He knows commands like “sit”, “stay”, “place”, “down” and “leave it”. He is kennel/crate trained. He has not stayed in the house unless he is in a kennel, so not sure if he is house trained yet. The owner will donate all the food, toys, supplies, etc., as well as provide all of his vet documentation.

Everyone that adopts must first fill out an application and get approved by our adoption team. We allow people to meet our animals to make sure it is the right fit along with letting their animals meet our animals as well as long as that animal meets the vetting criteria.
