My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Friendly, Cuddly, Relaxed

Meet Dick Dastardly, the biggest, softest "villain" who just wants to love his humans with all his heart! Despite his infamous name, Dick Dastardly is anything but dastardly-in fact, he's one of the kindest, cuddliest cats you'll ever meet. This friendly gentleman is happiest when he's lounging nearby, keeping an eye on his favorite people, and delivering affectionate head nudges to remind you he's right there.

While Dick may not be the type to tear up the room with wild playtime, he brings plenty of energy to his role as the ultimate snuggle buddy. Snuggling is his specialty, and he loves nothing more than curling up with his humans for some quality bonding time. Pet him just right, and you'll be treated to his full repertoire of purrs and contented nudges!

Dick Dastardly also has a chatty side, and he's got a lot of opinions! From his thoughts on the weather to when it's *definitely* time for a snack, he's always ready to keep you company with his vocal commentary. This lovable foodie will make sure you know when his stomach is rumbling-mealtime is a big part of his day, and he'd love to share it with someone who appreciates his refined taste.

Dick seems to avoid other cats and we're not sure about his opinion on dogs, but we know for sure that he loves humans. For anyone seeking a snuggly, gentle, and talkative companion who's big on love, low on chaos, and devoted to their people, Dick Dastardly is a perfect fit. If you're ready for a loyal friend with a big heart and a few opinions, he's eager to be your affectionate sidekick!

Dick Dastardly has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Dick Dastardly can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
