This is Tia. Tia has been in foster care for a little while, and this is what her foster mom has to say about her: `Tia is one of the most well mannered, sweet, and best dogs I have ever met. She is quite timid, but each day she comes a little more out of her shell. She is as gentle as can be and has stolen every heart she has encountered! We are working on basic commands right now, and she seems to be a quick learner. She has had no accidents and knows to potty outside! She is good with other dogs, and could thrive in just about any home with some TLC to help her personality shine through! Tia is loyal through and through and would make the best companion a person could ask for. If you have room in your home and room in your heart, Tia needs you as much as you need her! Please consider adopting the most perfect girl, she is truly a gift!`

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
