My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amelia is an absolute delight. She enjoys cuddling and giving kisses. She has been in a foster setting for a little over two weeks now and is doing fantastic. Her personality and playfulness is really coming out. She enjoys going for walks and is pretty good on the leash - as long as you do not try to pull her forward. If you walk at a moderate pace, she walks along with you and does not pull forward. She is easily guided left and right and loves to meet people and other dogs. She is not aggressive at all. She will follow you like your shadow or just enjoys lying beside you. She will make someone an amazing, loyal dog.

Amelia is still working on her indoor potty skills but catching on fast. We take frequent outside breaks right now. She seems to really enjoy wearing her fancy protective undies that keep her from having an accident while inside. Isn't she cute - with those button ears?

Her foster brother and she get along great. She is learning to share toys but can be jealous when he gets the attention. She will sit to get her treat and is excited when told she is a good girl. She seldom barks - and when she does it is usually just to let you know someone is passing by the house or coming to the door. She will stop when you tell her it is all okay. She was super well behaved on her recent outing to a dog-friendly restaurant.

She is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, heartworm prevention, and is microchipped. She is just home from being spayed. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
