My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tulip! She’s a shy gal who will blossom into a wonderfully sweet kitty in the right home.

Tulip can be timid in new environments and people, and she’ll need some time to settle into a new home. She does startle with sounds and sudden movements, so she’d likely do best in a quiet home with a patient, understanding adopter. Tulip has shown so much progress in her foster home, where we learn new things about her every day!

Once Tulip begins to open up in your home, you’ll see that she is a friendly, affectionate girl! She loves getting pets, being brushed and snacking on tasty treats. She loves to play with feather toys and will cheerfully chat with you if she needs something. Tulip’s favorite time of day is bedtime, and she’ll let you know when she’s ready for bed with a few polite meows. She’ll happily hop into bed, and even likes to get under the covers!

Tulip’s ideal home would have some quiet hidey spots where she can feel safe and cozy during the day. She has done well living with her foster’s resident cat and has been indifferent to dogs. She would also likely do well with older children who are gentle and respectful of her space.
