Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Bean! I'm a shy gal who would love a calmer house. I'm a nervous but am allowing some pets and scratches and I have to say, they're not so bad! I came from a place that rescued kitties and closed down leaving us all to fend for ourselves. By the time anyone was allowed to help me I was badly in need of dental care and had to have all of my teeth removed, so canned food for me is a must! There has to be someone out there who can understand what I have been through and give me love and patience. I am a very pretty and petite house-panther: all black with just a tiny patch of white fur on my chest. I am very timid around people but I am working on learning to trust. The first several months in my foster home I really wasn't so sure about the people who live here and I mostly stayed under the bed. Now I am starting to realize that maybe they are not so bad? They give me delicious food and I really like that! I also really love my cat brother and sister here in my foster home. I like to walk up to them and rub my little face against them. They are fine with that! The other cats in this house help me come out of my shell a bit more every day. I do really like to be around other cats and would love to always be in a home with other cats. I am also very playful, now that I am not so scared anymore. I love running around , especially at night, chasing after toys. I have a big tennis ball here that I like to play with- my foster mom tells me I am such a cute silly girl to play with a ball that is meant for a dog! Although I am a lot more courageous than when I first got here, I still do not let my foster parents get close enough to pet me. I can tell they really want to- and who would blame them because I have velvety soft black fur that asks for petting. But I am not quite ready for that. I am getting more and more curious and don't hide much anymore, and maybe as more time passes I would eventually like to be pet? I am a very sweet girl who just needs time and patience to help me learn to trust people.
