My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogs

Got that real Nick energy….

Hey puppy
When you gonna stop playin’

Big Nick’s lookin’ for a family
One to match his Big Nick energy
He’s a catch, such a gem you can plainly see
A good boy, potty trained, well-mannered he
Likes to play, likes to run, like to follow you
Chase balls, wrestle, nap, he’s funny too
So let’s get him his own forever family
One to match his Big Nick Energy

***

Nick is EVERYTHING you would want in a puppy

He is dog-friendly, OBSESSED with kids of all ages, he’s playful and also likes to chill. He’s energetic and lively and down to do ANY and EVERYthing you want to do in your back yard. Run? YES. Dig? YES! Chase? HECK YES! Pool? SURE… Fetch? He doesn’t understand why you’d throw a perfectly good toy across the yard but, YES! He will go get it for you…

Nick does NOT like walks or cars or scary things like front yards. They give him the heebie-jeebies.

But he DOES love other dogs - so much that he’s decided he wants a buddy in his forever home and he LoVeS the freedom of a fence. He showed us this week he has at least one of Superman’s abilities and can leap tall buildings - aka short fences - in a single bound. So a 6’ fence will be a requirement as well.

So to reiterate his NEEDS (all non-negotiable):
Friendly, welcoming, playful doggie mentor
At least one kiddo
Home with a 6’ fenced yard he can enjoy and not escape
All the love and attention, dedication and commitment it takes to raise a puppy good citizen

Nick is so much more than his stunningly handsome good looks - but they do help If you’re looking for your next family dog - one who will hit the ground running with your crew and never look back… Nick may be the pup for you!

Visit maxxandme.org for applications

Nick’s adoption fee is $400

***all puppies adopted from Maxx&Me are required to undergo basic puppy obedience classes within 6 months of adoption***
