Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cuervo is one of five boys who make up our “Tequila Crew.” They were found as approximately 4 month old kittens in an area frequented by loose dogs - so for their safety they were brought to ARC by their finders. We weren’t certain that they would become friendly enough for adoption or if they would need to be placed in a TNR/barn home situation, BUT with 1-2 months in the home with one of our dedicated fosters - these sweet boys want loving homes and families! While they may take just a little more patience and understanding from their future adopter while they form a bond and trust, it’s so worth it! We would love to see Cuervo go to a home with another cat, as he is very loving toward all the other shelter cats and finds comfort in their company.

Cuervo is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FELV and FIV. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form (found under the ‘adoptable cats’ section).

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

You MUST first call or email to set up an appointment so that we can dedicate time to finding you the right fit!

2.
Submit Application

We will then call vet reference and personal refs listed.

3.
Take the Pet Home

After we call your references, if you are a good match for the pet you are applying for, we will set up an adoption day.

Animals are shown by appointment only at our shelter, which can be arranged by contacting Vicki Hess directly at vicki@nokillarc.org.

Animal adoption fees vary depending on the animal. Understand that ALL animals from Animal Resource Center are spayed / neutered, up to date on vaccinations, have had blood / parasite screening and will be microchipped upon adoption.

If interested in adopting an animal from Animal Resource Center after scheduling an appointment to meet them, you must fill out an application and provide a vet reference as well as two personal references.

If your application is approved, we will conduct a home visit with the animal to ensure that your home and family members are a good fit for them and you!

If you cannot keep your pet adopted from Animal Resource Center, you MUST return the pet to us.

The Animal Resource Center of Bloomsburg PA is a non-profit, no-kill, organization whose purpose is to provide shelter for homeless, abused, and neglected domestic animals; educate the public on the welfare and care of cats and dogs; and act as advocates for animal rights. We are also dedicated to promoting the spaying and neutering of cats and dogs; thereby, reducing the number of homeless and abandoned animals.
