Hi, I'm Ruger, a 2 year old Australian Shepherd. I'm recently neutered, UTD on shots and preventatives, and ready for my furever home!

My foster humans say I require a patient adopter who is willing to put in the time for training. I don't know what I'm doing half the time, but I do know I want to please you! In the past few weeks I've learned the words stay, lay, and off. I also have great recall. You call my name and I'll be there as fast as I can! I am VERY food motivated, making teaching me new things fairly simple. I LOVE treats.

I enjoy playing with my dog friends, but also just as happy to romp the yard solo. I am still learning how to behave properly in the car and on leash, but don't let that stray you from taking me places! I like to be near my humans, but I behave well when left alone too.

No one knows anything about my past, but that's my secret 🤫 All that matters now is my future. And I'm ready to spend it with you!

There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new family. All adoption fees are used for future recue efforts.
