About Niles:
Niles is a 4-year-old Cattle Dog and Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as his goofy personality! His blend of intelligence, playfulness, and calm makes him a true gem. Niles is the kind of dog who can brighten anyone's day with his charming antics and sweet demeanor. Whether he's chasing after a ball, rolling around for belly rubs, or just lounging by your side, he's always ready to share his joyful energy with the people he loves.

Despite his larger-than-life personality, Niles is a gentle soul who enjoys spending time with both humans and other dogs. He's friendly with everyone he meets, from kids to adults, and gets along well with other pets, too. His goofy nature means he's always up for some fun, but his Great Pyrenees side gives him a calm, protective presence when it's time to relax.

What Makes Niles Special:
- Goofy & Playful: Niles has a wonderfully playful spirit! Whether he's trying to fit into a spot way too small for him or doing a happy dance when he's excited, he's sure to keep you laughing with his lovable antics.
- Gentle & Affectionate: Niles is as gentle as they come. Despite his size, he's a cuddly teddy bear who loves being close to his people and sharing affection.
-Friendly & Social:Niles is incredibly social and loves meeting new people and other dogs. His friendly, easygoing personality makes him an excellent companion for families, singles, or anyone looking for a loyal friend.
- Balanced Energy: Thanks to his Cattle Dog side, Niles has plenty of energy for outdoor adventures like walks, hikes, and playtime. But his Great Pyrenees genes also give him a laid-back, easygoing side that makes him just as content lounging around at home.

Niles is a perfect mix of playful energy and gentle affection. His goofy personality, friendly nature, and loving spirit make him an ideal companion for anyone looking for a dog who's as fun as he is sweet. If you're looking for a loyal, goofy, and all-around wonderful dog to bring into your home, Niles could be your perfect match!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We hope you meet your four-legged love at SPCA Florida! Our goal is to help you find a companion that best suits your household. We have wonderful animals available and a great deal of information to share with you.

Adoption Process
When you arrive at the Adoption Center we invite you to take a look around and meet the animals. We encourage you and your family to spend time with each pet you are interested in to see which is the best fit. Our trained staff and volunteers are happy to answer questions about the animals and provide you with whatever background information we have regarding that pet. Please keep in mind we do not always know all of the adoptable animals’ history or background depending on how they arrived at SPCA Florida.

If you currently have a dog at home we recommend you bring him or her in to interact with your potential new dog.

When you find a pet you would like to adopt the next step is to fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed with you by one of our trained counselors. The counselors will answer any questions you may have. If the pet is already sterilized he or she can go home the same day, otherwise the surgery is normally scheduled the next day and the pet can go home the day of surgery.

Adoption Fees
Adoption fees vary depending on species, breed and age. The fee includes:

•Spay/Neuter surgery for unsterilized pets
•Dogs are dewormed, tested for heartworms (if negative they receive a 30-day heartworm preventative; if positive a certificate for treatment paid for by the Guardian Angel Fund) and receive vaccinations for canine distemper, adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza, parvovirus and Rabies
•Cats are dewormed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids and receive vaccinations for feline distemper, rhinotracheitis, calici virus and Rabies
•microchip
•SPCA ID tag
•Dog leash or cat carrier
•Educational material

Other supplies are available for purchase in our adoption center lobby.
