Meet Katara, a gentle soul in a sturdy frame! This 3-year-old lady has a laid-back personality, perfect for someone who appreciates calm and lovable companionship. From our volunteer observations, Katara seems to enjoy the company of both people and other dogs, often showing her affectionate side by soliciting belly rubs and cuddles. She`s got good manners, knows how to sit on command, and is eager to explore her surroundings on a leash. Despite her heartworm status, she doesn`t let anything dampen her sweet spirit!

Come visit us and meet our wonderful adoptable pets! All adoptions are first come, first serve. All pets in the shelter must be adopted in person at 1818 North Westmoreland Road.

You must be 18 years-old to adopt a pet.

When picking up your new pet, please bring your driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID.
