Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Asher is adorable. He is a kind and gentle 11-year-old gentleman who loves attention and affection from his people. Shy at first, he gets comfortable after a few days, and will jump up next to you to get in his snuggle time. When he wants more neck and ear skritching, he will lightly touch you with his paw and reward you with a soft purr.
Describe cuddling behavior/affection level: Asher is definitely a snuggler. He prefers to sit next to you rather than on the lap though. He will reach over to touch you with his paw while sitting next to you.
What are the best adjectives to describe them? Affectionate, Gentle, Loving
Affectionate – When he jumps up on the couch to sit next to you, he reaches out to touch you to let you know he wants some petting.
He is a special needs kitty with diabetes, but he doesn’t let it slow him down a bit! He sits quietly for his twice daily injections and never fusses about it afterward. He is also on a special diabetic diet which he devours with zest!
Gentle – His touch is so gentle when he reaches over to touch you. You barely feel his touch, but he sure lets you know he likes you with it. Sometime he’ll even start making biscuits and you would never even know he has claws.
Loving – He jumps right up to sit/lay next to you when you sit down. He also likes sleeping on the bed with people.
