Peppermint Pentridge is an adorable, petite black kitty who is full of love. She is extremely sweet and affectionate once she gets to know you. She makes impossibly adorable chirping noises when she is hungry or wants attention. She enjoys sitting on laps, and also just hanging out near you. She has a really loud purr for such a tiny girl! Plus, her adorable face just makes you smile.
Peppermint also has a playful side! She loves wand toys especially. She definitely has a goofy nature and can be quite hilarious! Sometimes, we will hear little chirping noises from the other room from her batting around a cat toy. She does benefit from 1-2 play sessions per day and would do great in a home with another playful kitty. She seems to really enjoy the company of other cats but could be good as a solo cat to soak up all the attention.

Meet the Pet
After approval, a meet & greet is set up between potential adopter and foster parent/cat.

Sign Adoption Contract
After a successful meet & greet, it will take at least 48 hours until finalizing the adoption is complete. Contract is signed & fee is paid.

Cats under 1 year old: $150 + 8% sales tax = $162
Cats aged 1-10 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Two kittens under 1 year old: $225 + 8% sales tax = $243
Senior Cats (10+ years old): $75 + 8% sales tax = $81
* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
