My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zyra was surrendered to the shelter on 2/20/2024. Her owners didn't have time for her and have been trying to rehome her for a few months. She just turned a year old on 2/9/2024. Zyra is a Pit mix of some kind. She is such a sweet girl and very active so a home that will take her places and on walks would be best suited for her. Zyra is also very goofy and still much a clumsy pup. She does good around other dogs and children. She still needs cat tested. Zyra will be spayed before adoption, and she is up to date on her vaccinations. Partially house trained. Adoption fee is $200.00

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
