My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you're a cat-savvy soul who appreciates the beauty of independence, you have to come meet Loki! This handsome boy loves to explore and enjoy his personal space, will happily perch on a cat tower and partake in a sunny view, and loves a good pet here and there--- he truly is the best of both worlds! Loki would thrive in a home with someone who speaks the language of cat and can understand his subtle cues and graceful body language. Loki has been waiting for that special someone for almost 6 months now--- let's share this boy so we can finally find that perfect human who will help him be the best boy he can be!

More about this shelter

We serve the pets and people in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is clear: To take responsibility for each and every orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dog and cat which reaches our doors; to take them in and shelter them; to provide the best medical and physical care possible for them; to nurture them back to health if need be; and finally to place them into warm, loving, adoptive homes where they can enjoy the lives they deserve.
