Meet the Pet
This helps The Rescue Crew with pet care costs.
Maggie Mae aka Margo is an adoption return in need of a foster or foster to adopt home as soon as possible.
Below is some information provided to us from her adoptive family. Although it was 4 years ago that she was in foster care with us,, she did do very well with the resident dog in her foster home. Her adoptive family has stated she can be dog selective and does also seem to want to be more of a loner than an integral part of the family dynamic as a whole.
Margo is an incredibly low maintenance dog. Providing her with food, water, and land to roam, explore and protect, and she is in heaven. Her navy-seal level alertness and observation skills are amazing, and she takes SO much pride in protecting our family and land. Her happiest times have been off leash, walking by my side, in rivers, lakes, and large parks, that were quiet. She went off to school for 5 weeks, where she learned to heal, sit, and stay, while walking on her owner’s left side. But being that she is a free spirit, she doesn’t like leashes, and prefers to roam and explore at her own pace and discretion.
