Gomez is a cute and chill brown tabby domestic shorthair who is incredibly sweet and will be your new best friend! He came to Murci's Mission as an owner surrender when his owner was experiencing a personal crisis. He has an estimated birthdate of 03/01/2018.

He is a very loving and cuddly cat; an expert snuggler. He gets along well with other cats. He has lived with dogs before and didn't have any issues. He would also be fine living with respectful children. He is patient and good at using soft paws.

He loves the feather toys and the laser pointer. He would do best with someone who can regulate his food intake He loves lots of affection and wants to cuddle at night, and it seems like if he lacks attention, then he will eat more. Because of this, he would do best in a home where he can be near his people a lot.

Gomez comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $50 and includes a sample of the food he's been eating and his medical records. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
