My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A sweet protector with a heart of gold!
This gentle giant has lived with senior dogs and two senior cats. He gets along with them all very well and understands his place in the pack.

Bubba is totally house-trained and will whine at the door if he needs to go. Since his CCL repair surgery 10 weeks ago, he's spent a good amount of time in a crate. He has made his "house so cozy.

Bubba knows "sit, "lay down, "leave it, "come, "heal, and "stay. He favors toys with faces and loves tug-o-war.

Bubba has a handsome, regal face. He loves people and running up to show them his toys or ask for a pet and a kiss. Expect Bubba to roll on his back while kicking his legs up in the air in anticipation of a good belly rub. He enjoys laying outside in the sunshine, even when it's 100. Good old Texas boy, this Bubba.

He loves to cuddle and is not shy to show affection. His favorite treats are fruit! He loves watermelon, strawberries, and his "yogurt drink (Kefir, nut milk, and fruit).

A home with experienced, adult dog owners would probably be best for him. He also has the potential to live with another well-matched dog.
