Meet Popcorn! This pretty pup was found as a stray near East City Park in Moscow towards the end of February. She was adopted into a loving home for a few months, but returned to HSoP at the end of June due to no fault of her own. Now she's on the hunt for a new forever home!
We estimate Popcorn to be around 2 years old. She was incredibly nervous upon arrival, and those nerves never fully went away. She's cautious about new sights, smells, and people, but warms up quickly once she realizes you're a friend. Once she's past the initial stranger danger, Popcorn turns into a whole new dog! She loves getting to run around and play, especially with her human friends. She's a loyal girl who just needs a gentle best friend to love her for the rest of her days.
Popcorn's previous owner told us that she loved car rides, outdoor adventures, and had a gift of hardly ever barking inside. She prefers to walk on a harness. Popcorn was a wonderful girl in her previous home and will make an excellent addition to almost any family!
Popcorn lived with young children and cats in her previous home and did well with both of them. She also gets along well with other dogs! As with all dog adoptions, Popcorn will be required to meet any dogs in the home at our facility prior to her leaving HSoP. We also offer a seven-day foster period to help ensure a good fit for the whole family. Popcorn is already spayed, up to date one vaccines, and will leave HSoP with a microchip containing her new owner's information!
