Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Well, well, well, look at this little Rottie mix with a side of mystery DNA! Who knows what kind of super mutt magic is brewing in this adorable furball. One thing's for sure, he has a heart as big as California (where their mama came from, by the way).
Berkeley is one of 8 puppies that we rescued from a homeless man who hadt them living in a tent in a park in Bakersfield. These pups have already been through a lot in their short lives, but they're bouncing back like champs. They've been to the vet, got rid of some pesky parasites, have been altered, fully vaccinated and microchipped and are now ready to find their forever homes. And let me tell you, they are just the snuggliest little cuddle bugs you'll ever meet. Berkeley is fully potty trained and crate trained, very social and loves going to new places. He knows his all his obedience commands and is very well behaved!! His fosters have said that he is perfect! He started off as one of the smallest in the litter but is quickly gaining on the biggest one. I have a feeling he is going to be pretty big when his full grown.
So, if you're in the market for a furry friend who's part Rottie, part mystery, and all heart, these pups are the ones for you. Fill out an application now and get ready to welcome a new best friend into your life. Who knows, you might just end up with a one-of-a-kind super mutt that steals your heart in a heartbeat.
Update: we ran a dna test on Berkeley and this is what it said

Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. We will require a home check to make sure the dog is going to a good home. An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $350 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption.
please be advised that in almost all cases we will not adopt our dogs to folks who live in different states. On rare occasion, if we feel that it is a PERFECT for both you and the dog, we sometimes will break that rule for our neighbors who live in Las Vegas. If you live in Vegas and would like us to consider you, please fill out an application.
