Meet Atari! Our dignified schnauzer girl rescued from the clutches of becoming a breeder dog!

Atari is a sweet lady that will climb into your lap and heart! She likes to play with other dogs but she is very courteous and about not imposing on boundaries set by another dog. She likes toys and exploring. She can be a talker when she is expressing her wants, which is a pretty common schnauzer trait.

Atari is being treated for giardia, a common parasite found in puppy mills. She will finish her meds soon and won't need to take any to her new home.

Atari's adoption is $500. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped and on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. Visit leiashope.org for next steps.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
