My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lizzo is a bunny rabbit soft floof of a kitty and quite the love bug seeking out pets and scritches as much as possible. She rewards the love with loud happy purrs! She struts confidently into every room she enters though she still has a few shy moments on occasion but those never last too long.

She gets along with other cats. She hasn't bonded with either of her two kitty foster brothers but enjoys their company and hangs out in the same rooms they are in, watching their antics from a short distance.

When it comes to playtime, she LOVES to chase a plastic spring around the house or attack her catnip kicker toy. Though meal time is certainly her favorite when she sends out a few quiet meows in anticipation.

The perfect home for Lizzo, is one full of love and patience to allow her to continue to open up into the Queen that she is. She is probably best in a home without small children.

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
