Oink oink… here Piglet comes. She doesn’t oink like a pig but she sure does snore like one. Piglet was also quite chunky when first coming to Underhound Railroad but has worked hard to get to her ideal weight. There was no better name to choose for this 8 year old Chihuahua. She has a gorgeous and interesting dapple colored fur with very expressive eyes. Piglet is looking for a low key home as too much activity and uncertainness makes Piglet uncomfortable. She would do well in an adult only home. Her furever home would need to understand that Piglet previously had limited social and life experiences and a lot of patience is needed to earn Piglet’s trust. This little girl also craves a strong daily routine. Once she is feeling safe and secured in a loving home, Piglet’s adorable personality will shine. She always gets excited when it's time to eat and when she thinks it's treat time. Piglet is still learning how to walk on a leash and would do best in a home with a fenced in backyard. She loves to run, sniff and explore while outside. Piglet loves her crate too and resorts to hanging out in her crate most days. Occasionally she will be snuggled on one of the dog beds and may join her human for a cuddle if she is picked up on bed or couch time. Piglet is still working on her potty training and will do well with often potty breaks and a watchful eye. She is used to the company of other dogs and will need other dogs in the home who she can follow their lead and snuggle with.
