This gorgeous German shepherd mix wears a beautiful black coat with splotches of white on the tip of his tail, feet, and chest. He arrived at our shelter just before the new year and hopes 2024 will bring him all the happiness he deserves. He’s been patiently waiting on his forever home and is one of our sweetest residents. He is 54 lbs of love and kisses. Not only is Beckett a cuddly dog, he also enjoys being outdoors playing fetch and going on walks. He’s a superstar on a leash and always checks in with his person. He’s a little bit of a jumper when he’s excited. Who can blame him though? He just wants to give you kisses. It helps that this boy is food motivated and smart as a whip.

All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. To adopt you must have a photo ID and proof of your current address. If not on your ID then bring in a bill with your name and your current address. If you rent you must provide a lease clearly stating the pet policy or provide a name and phone number for your landlord so that we may confirm the pet policy. If you own your home you may provide a mortgage statement or property tax bill for proof.

You must be 18 years or older to adopt.

If you wish to adopt a dog and have other dog(s) at home, please bring them with you to the shelter so that they may meet. Even if your dog is wonderful with other dogs, many of the dogs at the shelter have come in as strays so we have no history on them and need to be sure they get along with your pet(s).
