My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dora! Because she's a-Dora-ble! She was found as a stray at the end of the summer. After not being able to find her owner, her finders planned on keeping her. Although, someone in the home ended up being allergic to her. Dora is beyond lovable! She is good with dogs and seems to be good with other cats. She was abandoned outside and has no interest in that so she is looking for an indoor only home. Dora has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. **Come meet me at Crooked Tail Cat Cafe in Downtown Greensboro starting 2/15!**

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

The first step to adopting from us is to fill out an adoption application online. The entire process can take from 2 to 5 days depending.

2.

Interview

Once we have received your application, you will go through an "interview" process that involves reference checks, a phone interview, etc.

3.

Approve Application

Once the interview process is complete and any concerns by both parties have been addressed, your application will be approved.

4.

Meet the Pet

Once approved, you will have an opportunity to meet the pet you are interested in and ask more questions to insure best fit.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

You will be required to sign an adoption application and pay a fee in order to adopt.

6.

Pay Fee

The fee helps to recover some of the medical and care costs while the pet is with us. The fee amount varies on the species.

7.

Take the Pet Home

The final step in the adoption process is to take the pet home for a "trial period" to make sure that you are the perfect match together.

Additional adoption info

More about this rescue

Red Dog Farm Animal Rescue Network is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to the rehabilitation, fostering and adoption of animals of all sizes. The homeless animals in our rescue network are spread out all over Guilford, Forsyth, and Rockingham counties in the care of volunteer foster families. Our office was originally located at Bur-Mil Park in Greensboro, but it has moved to our farm facility in Stokesdale, North Carolina.

Thanks to our wonderful volunteers and foster homes we generally are able to care for 80 to 100 animals at any given time. We would love to welcome new adopters, volunteers and foster families to join our community. For more information about who we are, visit reddogfarm.com.
