My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Gator and I’m a young adult male Pit Bull (possibly Boxer) mix. Wait! Don’t look away just because I’m a Pit Bull! Come and meet me and one slobbery kiss and crazy tail waggin’ session later and you’ll quickly forget any bad impressions you may have about my breed! Despite my great body-builder physique, I am quite the marshmallow on the inside!

I’m a bed-loving, blanket-hogging, house dog. I’m housetrained and have good manners. I loooooove to lay me head, or my whole body if I can make it fit, on a warm lap and watch a movie with you. A belly rub or two never hurt, either!

I’m great and gentle with children. I would prefer a home with no other pets though.

I also need a secure fenced yard (over 4 feet in height). I would rather spend most of my time in the house with you anyways though.

I’ve already lived in at least 2 homes because my people have never been as devoted to me as I am to them. The last go round, I was dropped off at the county shelter and the nice ladies there recognized what a great dog I was and placed me into a foster home. I really don’t want to be tossed around anymore. I need nothing more that a person to love that will love me back! Can you give me my forever home?
