My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sidney NE area
Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier/ mystery fusion
Birthday 03/23/2022
Dog friendly
Cat friendliness unknown, she was good with cats but she hasn’t been around one in her current foster home so a little hard to say for sure
Kid friendly, as long as the children have DOG MANNERS
House trained
Needs a SLOW FEEDER BOWL
She will crate with treats but she’s just not a huge fan so far. She needs work on house manners but she’s a quickl learner her current foster is just overwhelmed a bit when it comes to training.
Does decent on a leash, she is strong and does pull sometimes so some work on that will be needed
Is OBSESSED with ice
Fully vetted
70lbs approx

Edie has grown up in rescue she is very loved by us and by her foster family BUT she is so deserving of her FURever home. Every time we thought we had found her ppl it didn’t end up working out for reasons that had nothing to do with Edie. We have no idea why she’s had such little interest but we would REALLY love for her to find her people.

Not only is Edie absolutely darling, she has a happy and bubbly personality, she is always the first to meet her fosters at the door. She is always down for an adventure and her nature is very curious. She is one who observes before jumping into interacting with other dogs, she just likes to know what she’s signing up for, I can respect that, I think a lot of us secretly do the same thing with ppl. She really needs her people or a foster home with less dogs and more attention. She can get protective over toys and bones with other dogs but we think part of that will subside in a home with less dogs. She just wants more attention and love than she’s given. She’s crazy eager to please and has so much love to give.

She loves belly rubs and and squeezing in the smallest spaces she can . This little weirdo also has an obsession with the water bowl and while she’s never been around bodies of water beyond the bathtub, she would likely LOVE it!

This girl is a fantastic partner in crime. She loves people, is doing decent on a leash, but she is strong, it’s just her sincere and deep love of life and everything that every day has to offer!

If you’re interested in adding this, ice loving, spot stealing, adventure ready insanely delightful girl PLEASE contact us asap!

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption fee which ranges based on age of the dog or cat. We also require a completed (and obviously accepted) adoption application, and home and reference checks. We don't do this to be nosey, but because when we bring an animal into our program we make a promise to that animal that they will go to the best home for them. We are more concerned with the quality of our adoptions than the quality
