Cute little house-sized Winnie will bring the fun to your life. Energetic and playful, she will motivate you to get out of that chair and exercise with her adorable happy dance. She isn't only about play time. She loves getting scratches, knows her basic commands and loves treats so can learn much more. She's a talker and a smiler and will make sure you have at least a laugh a day. Winnie is all you need and needs to be the only pet.

The adoption fee for dogs includes vaccinations (DA2PLP+CV, Bordatella, Rabies) spaying/neutering, heartworm check, deworming, heartworm prevention, flea preventative, and microchip.

The adoption fee for cats includes a full exam (feleck/FIV tested, FVRCP), spaying/ neutering, rabies, deworming, and flea preventative.

If you wish to adopt a pet you will need to fill out an adoption application. You can either pick one up at the shelter or email the shelter to request an application be emailed to you.

The Calhoun County Humane Society, Inc. (dba The Animal Shelter), located in Anniston, Alabama, was established in 1973 as a result of the efforts of Susan Levens Phillips.

Our mission is
