My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tofu is a sweet, silly teen looking for his forever family! He was abandoned at a local park with a pile of food. He was so excited when a good samaritan showed I him a leash and helped him out! Tofu has been very good in his foster home. He has been awesome in his kennel and is getting better and better at leash skills. He loves belly rubs, snacks, and playing with toys in the backyard! He is a very active dog, but don’t let that fool you as he also loves a good cuddle on the couch. Tofu is dog friendly but a meet and greet with others pets in the home will be required. He has also done well with the cats in his foster home!

Once approved, you can then meet your interested dog! We require a week long foster trial before adoption.

More about this rescue

Candid Canine, Inc is a small non-profit located in Florida. We are professional trainers with a soft spot for rescue and foster education. We primarily focus on educating fosters in training and behavioral modification to increase knowledge and foster retention for rescues and shelters. Our adoptable dogs are taken in from various situations and are provided with a high level of obedience training. Our inventory stays small for quality of life purposes - as we continue to grow, so will the amount of dogs we can help!
