My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you have that coworker who just can't seem to give you personal space? Do you have that relative that insists on hugging you? By the end of the day, are you just tapped out - your social meter is full, and you're done with people and ready for your own personal space? That's exactly what kind of personality Bandit has - he likes his pets, his walks in his strollers, his wet food, and his foster mom's attention until he is overwhelmed and ready to have his own space. If you get it, you get it, and we are looking for an adopter that understands him.

Since Bandit is in a foster home, we have the perfect low key way to meet him - set up a Zoom with his foster mom, Ashlyn, and she can show you him playing and chilling in his own special room. No application needed – just email us to get this virtual meet and greet started!

Are you tired of the same old, cuddly, purring lap cats? Do you crave a pet with a bit more... life? Meet Bandit, the cat with a personality as big as his appetite.
He's independent, bold, and has a mind of his own. He enjoys doing things his way and on his terms. Here are a few things to know about Bandit:
Self-Sufficient: Bandit doesn’t need constant attention. In fact, he prefers his space. He's a great companion for someone who appreciates the company of a cat without the need for constant cuddles.
Curious and Adventurous: Bandit loves to explore. He'll find his way into every nook and cranny of your home. If you have interesting spaces, he’ll be thrilled to investigate.
Expressive: He’ll let you know exactly what he thinks. Whether it's a meow or a hiss when he's had enough, Bandit communicates clearly.
Playful with an Edge: While he enjoys playtime, he has his limits. Interactive toys that keep a safe distance are his favorites.
Why Bandit?
Adopting Bandit means embracing a cat with a unique personality. He’s not a lap cat, but he’s a loyal and intriguing companion who will keep you on your toes. If you’re looking for a cat with character and aren’t afraid of a few challenges, Bandit might be your perfect match. This 5-year-old cat is fixed, current on vaccinations, had full bloodwork, and is healthy. He has lived successfully with dogs and other cats, but like with any cat, a slow introduction is necessary.

If you think you have the right home for this feisty feline, please contact us to arrange a meeting. Bandit is ready to find a forever home that understands and appreciates his unique charm. Are you up for the challenge?
*Did you know we offer a foster to adopt option for our cats? This means that you can try the cat out in your house for two to four weeks to make sure it's a good fit before finalizing an adoption. In the meantime, the original foster home stays open, ready to welcome back the cat if it's not the right fit.*
Adopting a pet with a strong personality can be incredibly rewarding. Bandit may not be for everyone, but in the right home, he’ll thrive and be a fascinating companion. Go meet their pets

We are a small rescue without a facility so we rely on volunteers to temporarily house the animals until adopted. Because the animals are in private foster homes, we need to make arrangements for a visit to happen. Please email us for further information. Additionally, we have adoption events throughout the year - check out our Facebook for a current listings. We do private adoption visits with approved applicants.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to assist terminally ill people with finding homes for their pets. Since we help people receiving hospice care, heading into nursing homes, or families after the pet owner died, we often receive older animals. WE value older animals and cherish all that they can offer to their new family. We do not have a physical facility, so we rely on volunteers to foster the pets in their home until they are adopted.
