Meet Bandit – The Cat with Character!
Tired of the same old purring lap cats? Looking for a feline with a little more… personality? Meet Bandit—a confident, independent, and occasionally sassy companion who knows exactly what he wants.
Bandit enjoys affection on his terms. He loves his stroller rides, wet food, and his foster mom’s attention—until he’s had enough. If you’re someone who values personal space and understands social batteries running low, you’ll get him. He’s the kind of cat who will keep you entertained, set clear boundaries, and add a little spice to your life.
What to Expect with Bandit:
🐾 Independent Spirit: He enjoys companionship but doesn’t need constant attention. Think of him as a cool roommate rather than a clingy best friend.
🐾 Curious & Adventurous: If there’s a nook, cranny, or interesting corner in your home, he’ll find it. He’s a master explorer.
🐾 Expressive: He’s not afraid to speak his mind. Whether it’s a happy chirp or a grumpy hiss, he’ll always let you know how he feels.
🐾 Playful (with Boundaries): He enjoys playtime—especially with interactive toys that keep things at a respectful distance.
Who is Bandit Looking For?
Bandit needs an adopter who appreciates a cat with a strong personality and doesn’t expect constant cuddles. He has successfully lived with dogs and other cats, but a slow introduction is key. He’s 5 years old, neutered, fully vaccinated, has had full bloodwork, and is in great health.
Ready to Meet Him?
Since Bandit is in a foster home, we make it easy—set up a Zoom meet-and-greet with his foster mom, Ashlyn! She can show you Bandit in action, playing and lounging in his special space. No application needed—just email us to get started.
💡 Not sure if Bandit is the right fit? We offer a foster-to-adopt option! Try him out in your home for 2-4 weeks before committing. If it’s not a match, his foster home remains open to welcome him back.
Adopting a cat with a big personality can be incredibly rewarding. Bandit isn’t for everyone, but for the right person, he’ll be an endlessly fascinating companion. Are you up for the challenge?

More about this rescue
Our mission is to assist terminally ill people with finding homes for their pets. Since we help people receiving hospice care, heading into nursing homes, or families after the pet owner died, we often receive older animals. WE value older animals and cherish all that they can offer to their new family. We do not have a physical facility, so we rely on volunteers to foster the pets in their home until they are adopted.
